Top Republican Lawmakers Not Invited to Obama’s First State Dinner –

What a telling story! Not only have several key Republican leaders NOT been invited by the “bi-partisan” POTUS <gag>, but several Democrats and now-Independent Joe Lieberman have chosen to NOT attend.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the past if someone was invited to dinner with the President, even if they were sworn enemies, the courteous thing to do was to attend. It’s like applauding at the State of the Union address… you may not be on the President’s side, but he is the President and is due some respect.

The government has become SO divided since January 2009… more divided than I think I have seen in my lifetime. What with the ragtag team of miscreants that the POTUS has assembled around himself and with his bull-in-a-china-shop policy mentality, who can blame anyone for NOT wanting to attend his little shindig this weekend, except for the brown-nosing Pelosi-types who are hoping to get a bone thrown at them. Maybe the POTUS should have taken the example from those who got outta Dodge to go HOME for the holiday… and I don’t mean necessarily back home to Chicago, but take off some time to be with your family, Mr. Obama! You’re so wrapped up in your narcissism that you can’t see the almost sacred nature of the Thanksgiving holiday.

In the meantime, there will be millions of us who will praise God for his blessings to us and who will pray for a miracle to keep this republic alive and to get it back on track in keeping with the ideals of the Founders and the Judeo-Christian principles upon which this great country was founded.

God bless America, and please, America bless God.
